The Expeditions
The Moss Experience Expeditions will be leading a select team of clients on remote adventures both in the USA and other parts of the world. This platform will be unique and interactive in that we will be conducting skills training during the course of the travels, skills such as wilderness medicine and first aid, off road driving and recovery, remote travel survival techniques, off grid cooking, map reading and so much more. We intend to do rerunning of some of the Land Rover routes such as the Trans-America trail, the Mojave Trail, the Great Divide Expedition Route as well as organized trips to Prudhoe Bay, the Ice Road, etc.. Fielding exploration expeditions to some of the newly discovered remote Mayan cities is Guatemala, and the Yucatán. All of these events and training schools will be conducted while closely adhering to the “Tread Lightly” philosophy. These vehicles will definitely not be showroom vehicles, they will be kitted strictly with expedition purposes in mind, the discovery trucks will be the second tier of the expedition package with the defenders to be built after that as the top shelf experience package, less comforts, more expedition kinda thing. In order to expand our marketing profile and customer outreach we will also be ensuring a heavy presence with the fleet at many of the events such as Overland Expo and Land Rover club events. On top of all this we are in the process of securing 40+ acres in Colorado where the vehicles will be stored and maintained as well as utilizing the property for off road training and recovery schools. We anticipate the defenders to be done in Camel Trophy livery and have plans to rerun some of the Camel Trophy routes throughout the world and have many original Camel Trophy drivers who are eager to revitalize the Camel Trophy presence and will also be utilizing our vehicles for their events.
The expedition fleet will also be used to provide support and travel to another facet of the Moss experience that we are building a network of transportable and environmentally friendly self sustainable remote outpost basecamps which will be destinations for adventure seekers such as surfing in Costa Rica, flyfishing in Wyoming and more.
